What is your pre-boil volume going to be? I usually shoot for a 7.25-7.4 gal pre-boil volume
when I brew beer like this if I want to end up with 5 gallons.

More than likely for a double IPA. Or make a yeast starter. Depending on what you OG is and how
old the smack packs are you could probably just pitch two packs. Happy Brewing!

I use pellets to dry hop and normally only leave the beer on the hops until the pellets
dissolve. The best hop aroma I have achieved was when I dry hopped for only 24 hours. Usually
for an IPA I'm dry...
