i haven't read all the way through this thread, but isn't there a fail safe considering the
yeast will begin to die around 30ish psi? it seems like the yeast cell walls would collapse and

possible. i'm going to batch sparge, and want the ability to do 10 gallon batches. i figure if
    i want to do a...

  • Posted in thread: How can I make my beer more clear? on 09-23-2011 at 10:09 PM
whirlfloc/irish moss, cold crash, make sure your fermentor is settled before you rack (don't
shake it up moving it right before you rack), gelatin.also, it's a little easier to get clear
    beer if you k...

  • Posted in thread: So,,,,,how much will I save on 09-23-2011 at 10:02 PM
equipment excluded, about $0.50 per beer if you are brewing extract. much less than that if
you're doing all grain. unless you go crazy overboard on your equipment, it will all pay for
    itself (includi...

  • Posted in thread: I lucked out getting this....and can I use this as a keg?? on 09-23-2011 at 06:10 PM
yeah, i think i would make a nifty fermentor out of that thing. rigging it up to use it as a
keg will probably be more headache than it's worth.
