I can't believe I've never thought to use a shop vac to get a pull cord through a tube before.

Are you using a pull cord to get it through? I made a 4 product glycol line by pulling 6 3/8
lines through a piece of 1" solid foam pipe insulation. I put a few half hitch knots on the end
of the line...

Build a box out of ridged foam that fits in half the freezer. May or may not need to put a lid
on it. Only makes sense if its a big enough chest freezer though.

I would hold off on adding the acid additions until right before you are ready to mash in.

Ok so I just assumed that the winerator was because he was using a wine barrel. I had thought
about using a wine barrel as a base for my taps on my deck, but the price tag for even a barrel

I would keep it outside until it dies off for the winter. Then I would put it into a shed or
garage so it stays dormant until spring but is protected from the elements.

What type of juice did you use? Some juice has additives in it that yeast cant survive in.
