As many others, I fill my airlocks with vodka. Depending on my mood, I'll drink the shot after
I rack to secondary or during bottling. I'm always surprised how much hop flavor is in the shot

Thanks HBer, but I've tried bending the wires and had little success. Now I only use flip-tops
that have a ceramic stopper and haven't had any problems.
