    By max I mean warm. And I'm looking to hardwire the Johnson control to the fridge. A new
    controller costs $55 and I'm sure would take weeks to ship. Looking to brew today.

    Do y know of I'm reading this correctly. There are bubbles on the surface of your test vial
    where you are trying to read the hydrometer? How bout you just gently blow them off?
