The weather suddenly turned real cold here in Walla walla and I have 3 cases of 22 oz bottles
carbing in the basement. Been 7 days now and no carb yet... I guess it went als low as 40
degrees down the...

This turned out to be my best beer yet. Next time I will make it a 6 gallon batch... Very good
taste, extremely thick and rich. Tasted great after 7 days in 220z bottles ... better after 14.

Thanks, This is a 4 % lighter beer and wont need to be too sweet. Dissolving it in water seems
a good idea.

OK I steeped the grains (2 lbs total Pilsner & roasted barley) up to 155 degrees in 2 gallons
water, turned off the heat and covered and let sit for 40 minutes. (Ended up with about 1 1/2
