  • I always wanted to brew beer at home after seeing the Mr. Beer displays at Christmas. After driving by the LHBS for quite some time I went in and took the plunge in 2009. Since then I have been brewing more beer, learning more, and improving my equipment.

    I use this one for my spunding valve: works fine. No real problems. It doesn't have the best
    precision but it gets the job done.I use this one and have not had a problem. It holds pressure
    just fine...

    I am really happy with 2000 watts because it raises a 10 gallon mash 1 degree per minute.

    +1Locking the taps up nicely. It protects them, secures them, and makes for a more dramatic
    reveal. Nice job.It should be wired up to me a "ta da" sound every time it is opened.
