  • i was invited to help a friend brew in 1994, loved it! i soon got my own carboy and started exract brewing. which has continued to the present. i hope to get going on an all grainset up this year. firstly, i need to get a bigger and better brew kettle. i have one of those 5 gal. $40 jobs. it does the trick, but it's thin and it seems that a nice thick bottomed one would ease the targeting of temps as well as being large enough to contain all i need.
