I bought a 6g Better Bottle and an ingredient kit and had valid beer in 6 weeks. It was over-carbed and bland, but I still couldn't help but drink it all. All but 1 liter bottle that my home brewer friend (20 years experience) made me put in his basement. He says he'll give it back to me in a year to learn what aging does.
