You can bottle it anyway you like. If you back sweeten it with fermentables, you will make
bottle bombs unless you kill the yeast or keep it cold

You could just use the whole .5kg, you'll add about 6 points to the OG. increase of just over

Hey OhCrap,I would suggest using 0.4 lb of your extra light DME, so it keeps the OG the same. I
don't think it will change the flavor too much.
