The problem likely is your putting frozen anything IN the wort. not in the sink surrounding the
wort in the kettle.I agree. I wouldn't put frozen anything in your wort especially frozen

Do you have the means to purchase or make an immersion chiller or counterflow chiller? I made a

I straightened mine out and then re-coiled it around a corny keg, It worked great, got 15

I unfolded mine old IC out on the floor in the living room then wrapped it around my keg for a
CFC. Worked great.
