No....but I did notice a different color of hot break matter floating on top. the hot break
never really re dissolved into the boil. it was also pretty hard to get to boil......

Is it possible I didn't get conversion? Grains where crushed 1 week prior to brewing.

I hit all my numbers according to beer smith except my sg should have been 1.052...oh well its
still beer....if anyone has any other ideas please let me know.. till then cheers

I check both the pre boil and post boil with a refractometer and hydrometer and they both read
1.039....Im confused lol...

Brewed a blue moon clone today pre boil gravity was 1.039 boiled 90 mins and my sg was 1.039

I did not know that Zeiss didn't use their own lens in their equipment. Guess that's why the
