  • My wife bought me a homebrew kit for Christmas in 2002. I brewed one extract batch, fermented it too hot. Brewed three partial mash kits that turned out pretty good then went all grain. Read Ray Daniels "Designing Great Beers" cover-to-cover twice and started making my own recipes. Was using a stove top for full gallon boils until 2006 when I moved to a burner, didn't have easy access to outside spaces. In 2007 I switched to kegging, should have done that earlier. Now, I have built a control system around a BCS-460 for a Brutus-10 inspired three kettle system.rnrnThat system came together with inspiration from a lot of people on this forum. See the gallery photos. The latest project was a motorized grain mill. Next up is more cold storage for lagering and keg storage, probably just a large chest freezer.

household homebrew limit. Thanks for continuing to organize the buy an now it is pretty close
    to where I live.

my setup is pretty much the same as at the link in #3, works great. Some key bits: 1) how big
of a mill are you planning on? If you're going for a larger mill you would want more power (1/2
    or 2/3 hp)...
