I cracked both picnic taps I had on my kegs trying this. Just picked up a new one, is there a
way you guys are getting the racking cane in without cracking the plastic? I dont want to break

So now having been kegged a couple weeks give or take, I bottled a few and brought them on a
fishing trip with me. Upon finishing the first bottle, I immediately regret not bringing

1.020. I had planned on letting the oak chips sit in MM for between 24-48 hours as per the
    directions, th...

I used safale us-05 ale yeast, OG was right on at 1.043. Lesson learned, but I just wanted to
try out making the starter before I brewed my next beer, which calls for secondary and starter.
    I apprecia...

Annnd I used dry yeast. Brewing NB American wheat, (extract) and while it doesn't call for a
starter, I figured I'd try it out since its a pretty simple kit to brew. I was looking up an
    answer for ano...

I just ordered the extract kit, and just had a couple questions for those that have brewed
this.I see a lot of guys say that they added more bourbon than called for in the recipe. Does
    anyone have a r...
