Brewing since January 1995. I have brewed over 250 batches of beer, mead, wine, applejack and Perry.
I brew mostly all grain 5 gallon batches....except my Barley Wines and Belgians which I make 3 gallon batches augmented with extract.
I raise 15 varieties of Hops in my Garden - Brewing,Gardening

Nampa is really picking up with the Crescent Brewery on 16th just next to the overpass and the
new Idaho Hop House which is a Brewforia type place with Micros on Tap and available to buy and

That is full blown male!I have had a tranny plant that had both the male and female buds and I

I would strongly recommend finding a Mentor!I started by myself, and made mistakes that I would
have never made if I had a Mentor.Check your area for a local Home Brew Club and attend a Group

+1 on this. On my last harvest time got away from me and some of the hops were partially brown.
I used them just the same as the green ones, and the ipa came out great.I have watched many

I have access to alot of free hops, they are wet and very large. How do I utilize these hops

Better get the shovel out - once the head's chopped off a bunch more will pop up. The younger
