    Pale chocolate is definitely less roasty, which is why I like it. It gives just a hint of

    If you boiled it in the same beaker, you should be fine. The boiling water and steam would have
    sanitized the vessel.

    I like the way you choose the name of your beer. The recipe looks good. If you are following
    exact style guidelines, I am not sure if peated malt belongs. But if you like it, go for it.

    Thanks. I'll run that through Beersmith. There could be some redundancy with the Maris,
    carabrown,and Munich all throwing a little bready or biscuit flavor. I have the crystal in for
    color and flavor....
