  • I am VERY new to home brewing. My wife had just given me a brew kit she ordered from www.homebrewers.com. Last night I started my first batch (Blonde Ale) and am currently waiting for the little yeasties to do their thing. My setup includes a 6 gallon primary fermentor (white plastic), a 5 gallon (better bottle) secondary fermentor, a 6 gallon (also white plastic) bottling bucket, auto-syphon, etc.
  • Strawberry Wheat. Summer is coming!!
  • American Pale Ale
  • Empty
  • Blonde Ale
  • Don't currently have the funds to start kegging.

    Some Belgian yeast strains have been known to produce a lot of sulphur. That is very normal.
    What yeast did you use? As for the "film" on top of your beer, doesn't look like an infection
    to me althoug...

    So tomorrow I'm brewing this with MO as the base grain ,centennial for bittering and cascade
    for aroma. I guess its not really the same recipe but this is where the inspiration came from.
