Hi, just curious. Has anyone tried malting your own barley? Is it hard? Do you have to be exact

It is aluminum. I can' t get inside to scrub it, so i will try PBW. maybe oxyclean afterwards.

Hello. I have not yet made my first batch of Homebrew. As a new brewer, is it ok to start
brewing with grains, or should I start with a malt extract? Does beer made only from extract
(liquid or dried)...
