  • I was tired of paying so much for the beers I liked and I have wanted to try brewing for a couple of years. I finally decided to just go for it.

    Trying a "speed brew" right now. 30 min mash, full volume mash (no sparge), 30 min boil. A
    hoppy pale ale. Started with he recipe at 2:30 and almost at a boil now - 4:30. Used hot water

    I use the highest temp it gets to, so it could be during fermentation or after. So far (4
