If it's an ale, you are wasting your time keeping it in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. Unless
your refrigerator is really warm, it will be too cold for ale yeast to condition. If it's a
    lager, then you...

My 1st batch o' brew is IN the bottle. Some interesting developments in fermentation though.
For example when I opened the ice chest it's been fermenting in for 3 weeks there had obviously
    been some s...

(real specific, huh?) onto a dry napkin. No matter the tightening didn't seem to change the
    leak rate real...

Got a MBK for gift. Tried attaching the spigot per directions (hand tightened and not
overtightened) but can't get it to stop drip leaking. Emailed Mr. Beer but no response yet of
    course. So thought I...

Which is better carb. Drops or corn sugar?????In my opinion, it doesn't make any difference.
Drops, corn sugar, honey, table sugar, etc. All you're doing is providing sugar for the yeast
    to carbonate ...

If you are bottling from the tap, you should absolutely be using a beer gun or at least a
growler filler.I should have been more clear. I meant the tap on the LBK, not on a kegerator.

Just watched a few youtube videos of using a bottling wand. Looks simple enough, although,
every bottle I saw filled seemed to produce air bubbles/slight foaming -- I assume due to the
    beer traveling ...

I don't know if you'll have much luck finding a brew-buddy searching online (except maybe on
this site perhaps), although there's all sorts of websites these days... :mug: Just joking of
    course! I was...
