Oh man - how I have missed brewing! Its been a couple months since my last brew session but

I plan on buying a 55lb bag of grain soon and I am going to do exactly what the preppers do for
this kind of medium to long term storage. It' a grain, so just get a mylar bag and some oxygen

I use Brewer's Friend ( but it has a really annoying limit in the number of recipes before it
wants you to pay (I think it is 5... which is really low). It seems to work and stays pretty

Yeah - agree with STZ. Definitely looks like leftover proteins from cold break. Did you strain
the wort when moving it into the fermenter? If not, might be worth looking into picking up a
