I am wondering if anyone else has super long lag times with wyeast 1084?I am doing a killian's
irish red clone that came out at exactly 1.050 OG and pitched 1 pack of 1084 (no starter) at
    70*F about 5...

Also root beer and other sodas run 2-3 times the pressure that most beers do so there is
nothing to worry about glass strength wise.

What flow meters are you using?

You should probably be using a flare nut wrench.

Why not filter the beer? Basically you run it through a sediment filter.

So the primary purpose of the nitrogen is to allow for higher serving pressure. What does the
barley do to allow for the denser head?

From what I have read, serving with 100% c02 just does not have the super dense head.
