I'm inPosted in thread: First All Grain ... Mash Temp Question on 01-28-2013 at 03:42 PM
It should be fine (DWHAHB)... Sometimes I go 90 mins (usually on light lagers) just to be sure
I have full conversion. This is were brewing software comes in handy (hitting target temp with

That's what I suspected. I must have a slow leak in that keg. I may move it to another keg and
try again.Posted in thread: Back-Sweetened Cider will not Force Carb on 12-27-2012 at 06:52 PM
I've started making a hard cider every year... This is my 3rd batch and I may have made it a

That's typical for a light beer. On my light lagers (for BMC friends) I shoot for anything
below 10 and usually hit 5-9. 6 is really good for a extract kit. I'm assuming it is extract. I
typically hav...Posted in thread: Should I add some water to my fermentor? on 09-08-2012 at 05:51 AM
Doesn't really matter. If you want to add the water I'd probably do it when you rack (just
because it may be easier) but if it were me I would just leave it alone and go with the 4.6
gallons you have.
