  • Pretty much started brewing on my 21st birthday. Should have started earlier. Taught extract brewing by college roommate. Soon graduated into all-grain and built a 3 tier system. The kegerator followed soon after and I have been in beer bliss ever since.

    I went to my local hardwoods supply house and bought some rough sawn maple and had them plane
    it down for me. It looks better in person than in the picture...I was going to use Oak from
    Home Depot but...

    I have three of these: shipped for all 3. They've never been used. I bought them a while back
    from my Brutus 10 build but they didn't fit my burners. Just found them in my beer cave

    I haven't taken my exam yet (March 2013), but I've been studying and have stewarded a few
    competitions. I can tell you this - preparing for this exam makes you a better homebrewer. No
    doubt about it.
