    take it to a fab shop and have them use a break. The results will be far better than any DIY

    don't most auto gas valves have a temp sensor for the pilot so if it goes out the main valve
    stays shut??

    make sure you get the reinforced dremel wheels, they have a crosshatch type pattern on them.
