if you're not getting carb'd beer after 3 days at 30psi there is a problem with either your
regulator or a stuck poppet.

I brew with a basket. there is no grain bed, period. what there is is wetted grains with total
volume. The grain is loose enough that recirculating for sure allows the wort to pass through,

yeast are hardier than most give them credit for. I would be surprised if your starter doesn't
do the trickdont necessarily expect to see visual fermentation in a starter either

I'll go on the other side of things, I can't imagine 25% chocolate malt. Nasty!!To me anything
over 10% would be awful. This just goes to show its all subjective.

you'll be fine, lacto (if thats what it is) is a slow worker. have you tasted it?? I bet its
just fine. you gotta really screw up to create dumpenbraulacto will not continue in an O2 free
