I'm planning on making a batch of simple pale ale with half an ounce of chinook or centenial
for a slight bittering, then I'm going to divide it into four small 1.25 gallon batches for the

Beeru, I think a proper bag is in order. BobbyM has one at brewhardware for around $15-18 that
will line my 15g kettle(16x16). I used it as a hop sock, but that's a different story. They are

So, last time I made this, I just happened to have two vanilla beans sitting in a bottle of
Woodford Reserve, so I used that, and it was delicious. After about 5 months, though, the
flavours really me...

Everyone loves beer images right? We made labels for this one, but went with the name 'Seven
SamuRye' I bottled this last weekend. I had missed my OG (1.065) but it went all the way down
to 1.005, so ...

I just made a Saison with an OG of 1.074 and checked it today (4 weeks later) and it's down to
1.000. Insanely strong beer, but I've read it's expected for this style. The weird thing is
that it's sti...
