Not sure why not. It will be inert as far as your use is concerned. Looks like it would hold

I would blame the crush before the full volume. I do 6 gallon batches and I dough in to about 7
gallons. I dunk sparge in an additional 1.5g. I do squeeze and I do adjust my absorption rate
