    I could not have said it simpler I do not think you need all these equations 50' of 1/2" tubing
    even at a slowed rate is still going to cool wort. It is not rocket science!

    I brewed a belgian wit last night had the wort at around 70 then added water that i was
    chilling after i added the wyeast 3944 belgin wit i looked at the temp and it said 58. within
    1hr i had it to 62...

    Check this chart out it might help from what I have read, and I am a beginner it depends on the
    beer, and temp what the recipe calls for in volumes of co2 per liter.

    I have not racked yet. "Primary" was in reference to the stage of fermentation.
