I added 1/2 packet of S05 to my priming solution for a 6 gallon batch of Bourbon Ale. Hoping
that does the trick.

On a high gravity beer with a big grain bill, is it ok to rinse the grains more to get more of
the sugars? I thought maybe an extra gallon of sparge and then boiling the wort to the right

I like the sound of that idea, any idea how to calculate the yeast count on that? Or doesn't it
matter because it will be more than enough? White Labs recommends their Irish Ale strain.
