    The other way to get to your preboil volume (6.5 to 7 gallons for my system) if to have a
    calibrated stick or spoon, marked with your preboil volume target. Then sparge until you reach
    that mark. Easy...

    If your numbers are that consistent, BeerSmith efficiency is set too high. My methods and water
    additions require I set it at 65% and hit my numbers.
