  • I just srarted brewing july of 08, so far I have brewed 4 batches. the first three batches same recipe, using all malt. Just trying to get a feel for the process. Just brewed a partial mash of a honey blonde, should be ready to bottle any day. I have always wanted to try to make my beer, then a guy at work was selling his equipment, I bought everything he had. Carboys, pans, bottles, everything but the fresh ingredients. My first batch had carbonation problems, not enough yeast, the next batches have gotten much easier and tatsed great.
2010 and still brewing!!! finally made an all grain, not ready yet.
  • I have been planning another partial mash of an IPA recipe from charlie papazian book joy of home brewing, which i have read once and have been using as my first reference. Some day I want to make an all grain brew.
