    Also make sure you disassemble your bottling bucket spigot and bottling wand valve and clean
    them. Nasty things can hide there and cause infections after bottling. It happened to me.

    You got a bug. I know cause I got a similar bug, it was awful. I took steps and killed my bug.

    I agree that it is Brett or house bug (worse). My own house bug tasted like what you are
    describing. Luckily I was able to kill it off. I hope you can cure your problem.

    I've brewed over 200 batches now in 5 years and I've bottled 90% of them at 14 days with no
    problems. All ales. I never take an FG reading because I just know that they are ready to
    bottle in 14 days....

    I've refilled many bottles dozens of times over 5 years. I've never had one fail. I think they
    will last forever. FWIW most are Sierra Nevada 12oz.
