I used a step bit and oil and it was a little rough looking. A couple minutes with a hand file
and sandpaper cleaned up the hole nicely.

Bumping this thread as I just found myself in the same situation. Is a 1:1 swap with Munich ok
to do? I was wondering about 50% munich and 50% 2 row to replace the missing Vienna. Also have

I would be happy for now just to do 5 gal all electric and use propane for the occasional 10
gal batch. I'm glad the hot Rod came up, that's part of my dilemma. Should I add a 2000w
    element weldless t...

I have read a bunch of threads about am still slightly confused about how to plan the rest of
my brewery. Having a young family leaves little time for hobbies, it has been a year to get my

I went DIY Tri-Clamp. It would not have been a huge price difference over threaded if I didn't
go for bling with an in-line sight glass. I pull the element out every brew to give it a scrub
    and let it...

Why dont you wash the yeast first then use that to pitch.Saves time and cleaning to just dump
on the cake, I do it occasionaly. Pouring a big IPA onto a light ale cake works well, not a
    good idea to d...
