Posted in thread: Extract with Steeping (just dbl the recipe)? on 03-16-2013 at 05:10 PM
For the most part, simply doubling the recipe works. The hop utilization goes up a smidge, so
you can cut back on the boil hops, or have a couple more IBUs. Check out one of the brew
calculators onlin...Posted in thread: Grain got wet. Still good? on 03-05-2013 at 10:21 PM
As long as it's dry and smells and tastes good, it's good. It will be more prone to mold now
that it got wet. I'd use it as son s possible. Good excuse to brew this weekend!Posted in thread: Important to remove labels? on 02-10-2013 at 12:40 AM

Check out the recipator. I've used honey a few times. Works ok, but it takes a little longer to
carb the bottles. Lately, I've been using dried malt extract (DME) with fairly quick results.
By the way...Posted in thread: Summit - awesome or onion? on 03-11-2010 at 10:13 PM

Is it just me, or was (is) the audio horrendous? I mean is the on-air announcer supposed to be
completely drowned out by the background? Heck, there's better audio engineering when I watch
