Made a starter without nutrient. White labs 001 in 1.5 starter with 150g dme. I also oxygenated

Spray with a hose and dry. Fill with pbw occasionally. If it lasts a year I'll be happy, cheap
and easy to make a new one. Will report back if turns out to be a pita..

Yes crush can make a difference. And so does sparge water temp, and so does the speed at which
