    I use a couple of ten litre plastic FVs,but without spigot.The two I have in at the moment will
    soon be blended at a ratio of 4-3 and then topped off.They are just under 8 months young.

    If you have a 2 or 3 piece airlock,then it stays on for sure.But if you have one of the old
    style bubblers,it could come off if you wanted it to,but I would leave it where it is
