Hansonian, keep us updated if you were able to salvage this batch. Don't give up, this is a
learning process. I learn something new with each batch!Posted in thread: Skeeter Pee Question on 02-20-2012 at 08:53 PM
Using a 1 gallon of wine after 3 days is fine. I've done it before. Its just like making a
starter, but with flavor. You didn't mention if you backsweetened before bottling or not. If
you did, how muc...Posted in thread: When is my wine ok to drink? on 01-30-2012 at 02:15 PM
I taste at racking and bottling! I try it as soon as I want to. That having been said, the best
bottle is always the last one. So, make sure you start another batch right away. This will give

This was my first brew too! Congratulations you made beer. Might not be your best, might not be
your worst, but you made it. I usually give my beer 3 to 4 weeks before bottling. No need to
rush it.Posted in thread: Super confused!!!!!! on 12-30-2011 at 08:17 PM
I always have a batch or 2 of apfelwein or skeeter pee in my glass carboys. If anybody doesn't
know what to do with theirs they could always send them to me! I'm sure I can put them to use!
