  • Got into brewing via guys at work. So far I have done a red recipe and doubled the dark grains, making it a DARK beer, I've got a recipe for an Irish Car Bomb Stout in the primary and I am about to brew a red this weekend.
  • Prepping for an Irish red and would like to try a milk stout.
  • Irish Car Bomb Stout.
  • Nothing...... but the stout goes in the secondary this weekend along with the Jameson, oak chips and vanilla beans.
  • My ultra dark red.

    So, for all interested, we tried hopping coffee and after dialing in the ratios, it was a
    pleasant surprise. Couple hops pellets to a kuerig cup..... Not too shabby at all.

    Did you use honey malt or just regular old honey?Used honey malt so the flavor and sweetness
    comes through rather than upping the alcohol content, not that that's a bad thing.
