I live in central Az and have excellent access to mesquite and not much else for smoking with.
I'm wondering if one of you that lives in a hickory or fruit wood rich area would be interested

I was thinking more of a refrigerater and a potted rhizome. Then again it's probablly not worth

Does anybody know if it's possible to "trick" the rhizomes into thinking that it's summer in
the north by planting them in winter AZ? I remember my grandmother freezing flower bulbs
through the summer...

i would never count on a 3-5 day fermentation. your gravity might get down, but it needs more
time in the fermenter.sounds like the beer session went well. if the wife doesn't go for this
