    ABOUT ME

  • Originally from TEXAS, Navy relocated me to San Diego where I started home brewing in 1999. Stopped for a few years as my life got super busy, and now I'm starting back up 2011.

I love my wife, kids, 07 Superbee, CJ7 & offroading /camping, spearfishing, diving, watching football, eating the hottest hotwings the country has to offer ( have yet to eat any that were to hot for me), shooting guns, and listening to music.
  • Loves my family,Jeeps,Spearfishing,Homebrew,Xbox,my 07 Superbee,GeoCaching
  • Navy E.O.D.
  • music is like candy it's only good without the rappers
  • Tombstone, Indiana Jones, Star Wars,
  • That 70's show, News Radio, Sons of Anarchy, Overhauled, Justified
  • Wheel of time series
  • MPJAI
  • Got into brewing when I was stationed in San Diego. I used to take my wife to all the breweries in the area for dinner. It was good for me cause I wanted to try all the beers and good for her becuase they always had great food.

Started out like most with the standard one bucket system and a bunch of bottles then moved on to some class carboys, a couple of party pigs and very few bottles.

Current set up since I'm getting back into it is. bucket, carboy and two cornelius kegs system being shipped as you read this. a dedicated fridge to keep my brews cold.

Past recipes was mostly brown and amber ales, did a few wheats and meads. Last one I tried was a weissenbock that blew up in the closet while I was TAD. I'll get it soon enough

Now currently I have a fatboy amber & a Chimay blue Clone (fattylivers recipe) in the fridge both Kegged. Soon enough I'll be doing a Petes Wicked Clone. And eventually that magical wiessenbock I"ve been searching for.
  • Petes Wicked Clone,

Maybe some thrown together combobulation of a wheat, honey, crazy go for it type of thing. why not???? curious to see if I could make something crazy that works.

Wiessenbock so far it's been my eleanore.
