  • I was introduced to home brewing through my former partner(police), him and a few guys from the district have been brewing using Mr. Beer for a while. I went with him when he picked up a true brew setup, I ended up buying one as well. My first batch was a Coopers English bitter, which turned out surprisingly well. I also made a batch of apple cider which is still conditioning. Right now, I have a New Belgian Fat tire amber clone that is conditioning in the bottles. I plan on making the Midwest supplies Irish stout kit I have, but I plan on tweaking it a bit.
  • I hope to brew a chocolate stout, partial grain in the next week or so. It's hard to get free time to brew between work and court.

Actually it's at a crime scene that I was processing, and I noticed the bottom. My parents have
numerous empties lying around. I'll give one a try. Thank you

Would 5 gallon deer park water jugs work for a carboy? I'm curious because they say recyclable
PET on the bottom. Thanks in advance
