I made a starter tOday from a yeas that expired oct9th. It was whitelabs California. It was a
peanut butter color at the top 1/4 inch. The rest was white. It smelled fine. Should it be

Waited till morning. Nothing was happening so I bottled. I think you are right and it was just

It was 1.020 three days in a row two weeks ago. But now its dropped to 1.015.
