  • I love beer, especially a good IPA or Stout. My Dad got into brewing a couple of years ago and turned me on to the idea. I held off until I got out of college and then my wife got me some brewing equipment for Christmas of 2010.

I've scored a lot of my equipment off of Craigslist. The free Craigslist app for Android friends is priceless. Here's my current list of equipment.

    - 2 RANCO ETC111000 temperature controllers.

    - A Holiday Chest Freezer that I'm currently using as a Fermentor.

    - A second giant chest freezer I'm using as my kegerator

    - 50ft homemade Immersion Chiller with hose hookups. Works great in the winter. I'm going to need to get a pump and ice for the summer, I live in AZ and hose water can be around 100 degrees.

    -Homemade Keggle

-All grain equipment, tons of extra regulators, taps, tap handles, carboys, etc..
  • Probably another batch of Bells Two hearted, an all Amarillo ipa, Anchor porter, pumpkin beer. Possibly a sour at some point.
  • Bells HopSlam
  • What's a secondary?
  • Belgian Wit, Two Hearted Clone, Brandon O's graff, Citrillo IPA, Cran-Apple Cider
  • Nada. I just moved and I'm tapped out.

Great thanks for the response. I'll let it sit for a month or two and try it again. I was
thinking the oak wouldn't mix well if I just let it sit there but if it worked for you then
    I'll give it try.

I'm just looking for a little advice. I brewed a heavily peated scotch ale recently (9%) that I
just kegged. It's about a month and a half old. While it was in the carboy I soaked a stick of

I'm wondering the same thing. I have a friend that brewed an IPA about 6 months ago and dry
hopped it about 5 months ago. It's still sitting in the primary on the hops because he's lazy
    and hasn't keg...

started from the wonderful yeast found in the bottom of that can.
