again, as long as you get silver bearing plumbing solder (home depot/lowes) you will be fine.

Some brew pubs do use serving tanks rather than kegs. But still, very different in design than
a conical. Just think very large keg with temperature control.

you could of course use a controller like that (not exactly that one) to output to a
appropriately sized mechanical relay or solid state relay to switch the element.
