So my porter has now been in the primary for 12 days. The first 4 days I had rapid fermentation
with little sediment. Now 12 days later, the beer is sitting on about 2 - 2 1/2 inches of

Odd.. Did you get it cooled pretty quickly? Any cold break material? Did you take a sample for
a gravity reading while transferring to your fermentor? and if so, did you see any suspended
