After a few particularly messy fermentations, I've converted to blowoff tubes on my primaries.
Man, that is WAAAAAAY more entertaining than staring at the airlock.

It always smells strong no matter what I'm brewing with; extract or AG. You really notice it
after you step out for a bit and come back in. But its a good smell, like Victory hop devil.

I sure LOVE dry Yeast for "Normal" beer, but the specialty beers that gain a lot of the flavor
