Unfortunately, I get to make one working string of UPS batteries out of three. That's in an
hour, and I expect it to take the whole morning to do. I MIGHT be able to squeeze in a kit brew

I didn't post yesterday, but I bought a 5 gallon cooler, to build my mash tun. I'll pick up the

neighborhood where parking is impossible, and the other is in a neighborhood where driving is
    made inconvenient...

  • Posted in thread: How do YOU name your beers? on 08-23-2014 at 08:12 PM
I'll use a new example, since I'm just getting into the habit of naming my beer:Tweed Cap
PorterI'm sure there are at least a dozen porters by that name, but here's why I chose it: I
    have a patchwork ...

  • Posted in thread: What did you drink before craft brew? on 07-06-2014 at 04:08 AM
La Crosse Lager, for the most part. It was local, and, thanks to friends who were employed
    there, it was free.

  • Posted in thread: What beers/food are you serving for Memorial Day? on 05-25-2014 at 01:09 AM
Hamburgers topped with hummus, sprouts and walnuts.Others may scoff at this, but this sounds
fantastic. As long as they're alfalfa sprouts, and not mung bean sprouts. Mung bean sprouts are
