  • like anyone else, i love beer. wanted a cool hobby. read about it and thought i would try it. fell in love.
  • i have really just been doing the kits from my local hbs. there not the malt kind that come in the cans.but im not sure what you call that. but i want to learn more. i want to get better. i want to make something i can call my own. and finially i want to stop with all the dang bottles!

    Can I make a yeast starter using corn sugar instead of dme? I kinda need to make it tonight and
    its 10:15pm so I can't go to lhbs and get dme.... Advice?

    So these kits make about 30 bottles right? I'm sure ya all are constantly fermenting/bottling
