The ripple elements make it into 1.5" TC no problem. I personally wouldn't want to use larger
holes than necessary especially if you're buying new punches.I mocked up both before deciding

I have the exact same setup. 5500W and 4500W elements in both HLT and BK. I can select 2 at a
time. With 2 elements (5500W & 4500W) I can take 10gal 55deg F tap water in the HLT up to 150F

I initially had some problems with the BrewTroller locking up/etc but I've got most of that
resolved now. Still trying different things to figure out the best process, but its been
working pretty well...

Which one?The brewery is up and running.The glycol is on hold. Using a chest freezer for now.
