  • Got started in 2012 with a Groupon for a starter kit from Midwest. Realized I was actually not too bad at making beer. Now I'm starting 2015 with 3 kegs and and planning a keezer build. Sticking with extract kits for now but always willing to tinker with a recipe.

    I do my spices in a tincture so none of the VOCs cook off. Also easier to fine-tune after
    fermentation is done. I will say a little clove goes a long way.
